Liam Salter, CEO of RESET Carbon Limited is to be moderating one of the panel discussions at the sustainable fashion industry seminar, the “REDRESS Forum” on 19th May, 2011 in Hong Kong at the Jockey Club Environmental Building.
The Redress Forum is a one-day event seeking to bring a fresh perspective to the sustainable fashion debate. Hosted by the Hong Kong based registered NGO, REDRESS, and focusing specifically on the Hong Kong market, it will explore the challenges and opportunities faced by designers, manufacturers and retailers as they embrace more environmental and socially sustainable practices.
Liam Salter will contribute RESET’s perspective from the company’s experience with carbon labels and other sustainability certifications in the apparel industry context as he moderates the Panel Discussion “The Certification Circus” in the afternoon.
Other Issues such as consumer and retailer attitudes, regulations and sustainability reporting for the fashion and apparel industry will also be discussed on the day.
